Grandma’s Fluffy Cinnamon Sugar Donut Muffins

Ingredients

For the Muffins:

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil

 

For the Cinnamon Sugar Coating:

  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (for brushing)

 

Instructions

Make the Muffin Batter:

Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a muffin tin with paper liners.

Mix Dry Ingredients:

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.

Combine Wet Ingredients:

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, vanilla extract, melted butter, and vegetable oil until smooth.

Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:

Bake the Muffins:

Prepare the Cinnamon Sugar:

Coat the Muffins:
