  • 1/2 pound breakfast sausage
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Prepare the Tater Tots:

Preheat your oven as directed on the package and bake the Tater Tots until they’re crispy and golden brown, about 20-25 minutes. Set them aside.

2. Make the Sausage Gravy:

Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the breakfast sausage, breaking it apart as it browns.

Sprinkle flour over the cooked sausage and stir, cooking for 1-2 minutes to remove the raw flour taste.

Slowly pour in the milk, stirring continuously, and cook until the gravy thickens, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, then remove from heat.

3. Cook the Eggs:

While the gravy is simmering, scramble the eggs in a non-stick pan over medium heat until fully cooked.
