Generally, when someone uses the word addiction, we think of something that is very harmful and can do serious damage. We don’t, however, tend to think of things like being on social media all the time or avoiding conflict as problematic, but any kind of unhealthy behavior we engage in can be an addiction.
Since addictions can be tied to our personality traits, it’s not unlikely that astrology and our horoscopes play a role. And when it comes to what each zodiac sign is addicted to, we can count on the stars to reveal how this influences the types of addictions we’re susceptible to.
Addictions are destructive to our health, our sense of self, and our lives. It’s hard to have any kind of control when you’re dealing with an addiction, even when you tell yourself that you can quit at any time or that it’s really no big deal. Any addiction is difficult to overcome and can take a fierce determination to end the power that it has over someone.
We all have some kind of addiction, even if to other people it looks like a healthy lifestyle. Working out is good for everybody, but not when someone is working out two or three times a day and has a meltdown if they’re unable to go when they want.
Sometimes we have addictions we know aren’t good for us, but we tell ourselves they’re harmless and fun as we reinforce the dangerous behavior. It’s easy to lie to yourself when you’re addicted to something. Addictions are stronger than habits and harder to break.
There should be no shame in asking for help. We often need someone else’s perspective in order to see that what we’re doing is unhealthy and possibly dangerous.
PISCES (February 19 – March 20)
Pisces has many addictions and it depends on their mood what they’re going to indulge in. They might turn to junk food, binge-watch way too much Netflix, or have a little too much wine for dinner.
Sometimes when they’re feeling inspired, they’ll work too hard, or when they’re not feeling happy or creative, they’ll sleep too much. Pisces are in love with love, so it’s possible for them to be addicted to love. You just never know what a Pisces is going to be addicted to.
